Africa - The Provinces of The Western Cape and Eastern Cape including
The Garden Route
Cape
Town is the capital city of The Western Cape Province in South
Africa. Within this province you can find a number of day tours
in and around the city along with multi-day tours along the Garden
Route between Cape Town and Port Elizabeth. Garden Route Tours
are overnight tours of which the shortest tours start at 3 days,
both return trips or One Way Garden Route Tours suitable for single
travellers, private tours or group tours. Safari packages can
be included in Garden Route tours at many private game reserves
or Addo National Park. |

Once
you cross the Bloukrans Bungy Bridge, you leave the Western Cape
and cross into a new province – The Eastern Cape. Self-drive
Garden Route tours are very popular and it's quite easy to design
your own tour with a rental car. The Garden Route is where the
Indian Ocean starts and water temperatures begin to rise. Agulhas
is the most Southern Point in South Africa and also the exact
point of the two oceans meeting. Driving North within The Western
Cape you will find the winelands of South Africa, which includes
quite a few popular wine towns such as Paarl, Stellenbosch and
Franschhoek. The West coast is the fisherman’s area of South
Africa and during Spring season the flower tours in this area
will give you a very colourful show.

The
Atlantic Ocean is found on the West Coast of South Africa, and
the Indian Ocean on the East side where some of the best beaches
in South Africa can be found. Water is very cold which creates
for completely different plants and marine life than in the Garden
Route.
