Garden Route Tours, Highlights and Activities

Apart from our regular Garden Route tours which can be found on our website, there is also the option available of turning your tour into an adventure filled trip. We suggest taking one of our 5 or 6 Days Garden Route tours in which you will find plenty of time and opportunity to visit these adventures and activities.

The Garden Route has a wide variety of options for both the relaxing traveller or those wishing to boost the adrenaline levels. Our Garden Route tours include a few of these adventure activities and guests can decide if they would like to participate in these adventures at their own cost.

These activities are for your own decision and account, and can be decided on the spot or a day or two before the time. In many cases our guests make these decision en route one of our Garden Route tours. When planning or designing private tours, it allows for a lot of flexibility and creates room for impulsive decisions as we go along.

These adventure activities include stops such as shark cage diving, whale boats, hiking, bungy jumping, canoeing, boat or ferry dinners, ziplining, river tubing, sky diving and more! If you need help to arrange one of our adventure Garden Route tours, simply let us know and we'll put something together for you.

Our Garden Route Tours run throughout the year and many activities and adventures are open regardless of the weather. The best season to ensure availability of these activities however, is from September to April when the weather starts clearing up and the rain starts to become less. Luckily the Garden Route is known for fairly good weather throughout the year so these activities are available almost every day.

Here are some of the adventures and activities to be found during Garden Route tours.

A 216 meter bridge connecting the provinces of The Western Cape and Eastern Cape. Just watching is also fun! A stop at The Bungy bridge is included in our Garden Route tours from a duration of 4 days or more. This is one of the top adrenaline activities found along The Garden Route and a true highlight.

One of South Africa's first and oldest tourist attractions. Explore the magnificent Cango caves as the guided tours will take you through many years of natural formations and underground beauty. The Cango Caves are included in all our Garden Route tours and also offer extended adventure tours for those who prefer the more tricky activities.

A guided 1 hour tour on an Ostrich Farm will bring you close to these strange birds and their daily habits. It's fun for the whole family and included in all our Garden Route tours. For those wanting a bit of adventure, try to ride an ostrich! These activities are optional and guests can decide on the day.

Feel free to have a look at our advertised itineraries to see which adventures and activities are included in our Garden Route tours.
