Cape Town Wine Tours and Activities

Stellenbosch is not only one of the wine capitals of South Africa and The Cape Town Wine Route, but also house more than 30 000 students attending the universities and colleges in what is known as one of the top education institutions in South Africa. The town is not only scenic, but also filled with outings, activities and experiences for the whole family. For small children joining our wine tours, we have a few interesting stops to keep them busy.

History
Old Cape Town Dutch Architecture, Museums and historic buildings can be found in the towns we visit. We drive through Stellebosch, which is the oldest town in South Africa during our Cape Town wine tours, but if you wish to add a little walking time or activities in Stellenboch during our wine tours, we will gladly make time for it on our private tours.

Picnics
With miles of farmlands and open fields, you are sure to find one of many picnic spots around the wine areas of Cape Town. Bring the kids and arrange an outdoor picnic with the family on our wine tours. Many wine farms offer snack baskets which you can buy there to enjoy on their premises. We will pick you up anywhere in Cape Town and bring you back safely.

Golf
For the golfers – no less than 3 top class South Africa golf courses await you in the Stellenbosch winelands. They are Devonvale, De Zalse and Stellenbosch. And as if that wasn’t enough, 6 more can be found within half and hour drive in The Cape Town area. Don’t hesitate to ask us about Golf wine tours in or around Cape Town.

Tastings
Yes, of course! The wine! But that’s not all! Much, much more for the tastebuds to enjoy along with family friendly activities. In the surrounding Cape Town farmlands and towns one can find chocolate tastings, biltong - which is a huge tradition in South Africa - , cheese, cellar tours and sparkling wine. Our private wine tours have enough time for comfortably doing about 3 tastings and a cellar tour.

Wine Weekends Away
Special Occasion, romantic weekend away or just in the need for some fresh air? Cape Town and The Winelands offer superb, high quality accommodation. Being just 30 minutes away from Cape Town, most guests simply make use of the day tours, but we are more than happy to arrange a night there or include it in any of our tours.
