The centre offers unique sights and sounds to anybody with an interest in wildlife.

For those who wish to up their adrenaline levels, The Cango Wildlife Ranch offer encounters with cheetahs, tigers or monkeys. And as if that is not enough, you can even do seasonal cage diving with crocodiles - a unique activity and highlight on our Garden Route tours. If the cold water and crocodile teeth doesn't seem like your thing, spend some time with the more placid lemurs.

It is important to understand the goals and reason for facilities like The Cango Wildlife Ranch. Without regular visitors to the centre wildlife will simply turn into yet another problem we wished we had given more attention to when it was still possible, allowing us to come close to these animals and learning about them. There are a number of sanctuaries and wildlife centres available on a variety of Garden Route tours, of which the Cango Wildlife Ranch is by far the largest. The goal here is to educate and inform visitors of the situation and dangers surrounding different animals around the world.
